I am filled with joy to be teaching God’s precious lambs at Trinity. Last year I was a long term sub at Trinity. I was able to get to know the dedicated staff and their commitment to sharing Jesus with their students and the parents.
I attended Lutheran grade schools in Rockford, Illinois, and graduated from Rockford Lutheran High School. I chose Concordia University, St. Paul, Minnesota, to pursue my teaching career and graduated in 1975 with a BA. I have taught at Mt Calvary, Richfield, Prince of Peace School, Spring Lake Park, and Prince of Peace Academy, Mounds View. During the last 40 years I’ve taught Kindergarten through Seventh grade. This gives me a unique perspective to understand the development and educational needs of the children. In 2013 I was an Honor Teacher Award Finalist by the Minnesota Independent School Forum.
My goal in kindergarten is that every child and parent knows Jesus as their Savior that every child feels loved and knows they are special, and that every child loves learning and wants to be in school learning and achieving to their full potential.
I am married to George Petroff and we have two daughters. We enjoy family time, traveling and camping. I also enjoy gardening, cooking and crafts.
